I've never had any feed issues with any ammo ever, but every time I've taken the gun to the range, a couple rounds in the slide will lock as if the magazine is out of rounds.

Next time I'm at the range I'll see if it happens on one magazine in particular.

Anyone else had this issue?

Anybody had any problems with Hollow Points jamming in the Taurus Mill. PT-145. FMJs fire flawlessly.

Lukeamdman, I have readed somewhere that it is easy to engage the magazine ejection button causing the mag to drop slightly appearing to be engaged in the weapon, try reengaging the mag. Especially if your are right handed.

Either something's pushing up on the slide stop or it's activating under recoil. Check your slide stop to make sure it's being held down under spring pressure with the magazine removed; the small spring may be missing or not working properly. Are any of your fingers anywhere near the slide stop when you shoot? With the slide locked open and a loaded magazine in place, do the bullet noses come close to the slide stop on the inside of the mag well?

I haven't had that issue but what I do get is when I load one of the mags with 10rds the first round will always nosedive and takes a push on the rear of the slide to chamber. Doesn't happen when I only load 9 rounds.

I must say getting that tenth round in either mag is quite a thumb workout. It seems the spring is getting totally compressed to fit number 10 in..

I had read reviews of the magazine coming loose after a couple shots, so I've checked that every time and it is not loose or disengaged at all. Definitely not that.

Also, I'm a south paw, and no matter how I hold the gun in my left hand or with a two-hand shooting grip no fingers come in contact with the magazine release, slide lock, safety, etc.

Now that I look at them side by side, I think this is related to an issue with one of my magazines. I'll try shooting 50 rounds through each mag and see if it only does this with one of them

Thanks guys!

If it is the mag put a mark on the bottom of it insert it in the mix to randomly innitiate a "tap, rack, bang" drill in your shooting practice. Rapidly clearing the stoppage is a good skill to have in your tool box.
