I only shot two or three rounds with the 30-06, it was enough to know that my shoulder was going to stay where it was. NOW I can concentrate on position with that particular rifle. I am six feet tall, and I wonder if the manufacture's had taller people in mind? I did read that because of it's longer pistol grip portion, it was difficult for shooter's with medium to small hands. I never considered myself to have anything other than large hands, and I really have a difficult time reaching the fire trigger while still gripping the stock properly! I will figure it out, now that I don't have to cringe just thinking about shooting it.
The others are short enough that I can roll my shoulder a little forward, and I already have corrected the back posture. Thanks again.
That Win 94 is still by far the funnest rifle of the bunch. I look forward to reloading for that just so I never have to make a special trip for ammunition, just grab it and go!
Have a wonderful weekend!
