I was shooting at my indoor range tonight and somebody posted this picture on the wall there. I've never seen anything like this before.

jbee- That is a Mule Deer, if you look at the base of the antlers, it comes up to two main beams, where a whitetail would have just one main beam.

I am 100% certain that is real. It was a real paper photograph, not somebody's printout.

I was merely disputing kdub's claim that it was photoshop. Could be grapevines, I'm not aware of many growing up around here though :D

yes, I've seen that before when mulies and whitetails eat to many japanese bonsai tree's....not. looks pretty cool.

I don't know where that is, I'm certain this is a local buck though, since some of the other guys I shoot with know who the kid is.

Ahhhh yes, the dreaded cannibas twistedhornus. Thought it may have been a Colorado Mulie that was eating too much screwbean mesquite.

Colorado doesn't have a lot of screwbean mesquite, but it does have lots of loco weed!
