Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions and i don't know much about guns. First question is; Is there anything i should know when removing the trigger mechanism on my S & W 1500 or is it pretty straight forward? I can see 1 screw on the underside and it looks like the safety and the bolt remove button are all on the trigger mechanism. Can I just take it apart or is there parts that i don't know about? I'm eventually going to glass bed this rifle and thought it would be easier with this off.

I recomend that you don't turn a screw until you fully understand the "why" of said screw.

Research the firearm and learn it a bit more before you "just take it apart because you have a screwdriver".

There are many "tales of woe" that the smithy's speak of. Most start just like this one.
