You failed to state what the weapon would be used for and to me this makes a difference.
RANGE FUN -----> almost any pull weight will do. Single action, I'd say 4-6lbs would be great. Double action(super long take up)probably 8-10lbs would be good.
CCW PISTOL -----> 4lbs for single action. NO double action for me. My Glock 20 that is used for hunting and CCW is set at 4lbs. My Glock 19 that I carry is set for 3lbs 4ozs. My Kimber that is used for CC is set at 3lbs with NO creep and very little over travel.
I like light triggers. In a stressful environment they could be a bad thing,depending on your level of training. I would say......whatever feels right for you,the individual. -----pruhdlr
