Tried to fire lap my Marlin 1894 44 mag in the backyard today.  This is a no go. One round was all it took. I think theres just too much reverberation off the hills in the area. Guess I'll load up my gear and head into the desert in the morning. A fine place for lapping.

Sounds like an OOPS! to me!  What happened?  Did you use the tire trick to muffle the sound?  Perhaps the desert is a better place to lap a gun than the suburbs... but at home you have all your tools and accessory items handy... better pack all the necessities before you head out for your lapping excursion!

Let us know if any bunnies get caught in the crossfire!

God Bless,

Marshall
