USglock.com - Update -

Has anyone on this forum ordered a GLOCK from http://USglock.com,
If so what is your personal experience?

This is a site for LEO's and military retirees purchasing a Glock at a great price, was concerned about sending them my SSN, DD-214 etc.

4 Jan 2009 called Glock Hq today and they informed me that USglock isn't a Glock Dealer. She went on to say, their legal department is investigating.

LEO's & Retirees can order direct from Glock, for example a G26 fixed sites is $398.20. Once the order is placed it generally is 10-12 weeks to build (yes she said, build). If you don't want to wait 10-12 weeks, they will supply you with the closest dealer to your home. If I purchase the weapon from the dealer closest to my home, the charge is $440.

Thanks for putting that info up. As a retiree I too am interested... but also cautious, like you. I have some contacts in Arkansas and I have sent emails requesting their assistance in checking out these folks. They look legit but looks, especially on the internet, mean little when the soup is cooked! When I hear from them I'll post my findings here.

Talked to them yesterday and they approved the following form letter and also requested a copy of DD214 or NGB 22.

Local FFL is sending his papers.

Will appreciate anything you can locate. Did a google on them, some of their weapons ended up in Turkey on the blackmarket, that is why the form letter states not being purchased for resale.

Good Price.........Hmmmmm ???

I am retired military also. Way back when, I looked into buying several Glocks at a "Mil/LEO discount".

I ended up buying two, but here is what I found and what I would suggest.
Some "authorized" dealers are NOT !! We have a dealer down here that states that he is a "authorized mil/LEO dealer but upon further investigation,is not.

An "authorized dealer will be on file with Glock. Simply call Glock and they will tell you who is and who ain't. They will also tell you at what price an "authorized" dealer should be selling the weapons for. The "authorized" dealers are spaced out. There is never two dealers within a certain distance from each other. Glock will tell you this and where the closest dealer is.

When I finally found a real dealer I simply walked into the store and showed my retired mil ID,drivers license, and Fla. CWP, and walked out with a weapon. I told the dealer that Glock had referred me to him and asked him if he would sell me a weapon at the price that Glock had told me that he would. He said,"sure" and I bought it.

The prices at the above site do not look to be all that great. Would suggest that ya'll give Glock a call re. this and are they an "authorized" dealer.

It's been awhile now,but IIRC I saved about $60-$80(each) on a Glock 19 and a Glock 20.

Give Glock a ringy-dingy. -----pruhdlr

Thanks for the tip on authorized dealers, I assume "Price Chopper #367" that USglock states is their dealer number. Will verify on Monday when I give Glock a call.

As for the price, that is $100 below gun shows in the socialist state of Maryland. Don't know what the prices are in others parts of the country, only have MD to compare.

For sure it is worth a call to get the best deal, again thanks for the tip on calling Glock direct:
