Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and tried earlier to post but I guess it didn't take. Man I love your guys style, Iv'e been drooling from reading your posts. Anyway here is a simple and well requested dish from my girls. Venison backstrap pounded thin. Sprinkle with salt&pepper, dab of butter, cover with spring mushrooms. Roll up,wrap with strip of bacon and pin with tooth picks. 350 for 20-30 min...don't over cook, alittle pink is nice. A carnivore buddy likes his broiled 7min a side...Comes out with brown bacon & red meat! Serve with biscuits to sop the juices and fresh spring aspargus on the side. 2 months to go till Mushrooms!

Man! This one sound's GOOD!!! I think I'm gonna try it when I get my next deer.
