My wife was really getting hacked at her flowers disappearing. She figured it was a deer but she had no idea about how many. I set the game camera up on the back porch post. Now I know why my bird feeders kept getting emptied.

A guy up in Michigan went to court to fight just such a "baiting" charge! He was exonerated, but the DNR claimed he was using bird seed to draw in and feed deer.

You can bait them in LA. Every stand on our lease has a deer feeder. Baiting is so common here, it really doesn't help much.

Maybe you should use bird seed and what ever kind of flowers you wife had planted.

You could have real fun with those rascals. I suggest some kinda gauntlet for them to run to get to the feeder. Noise making stuff and light stuff and water to fall on them. You may even get it on film. If you get a good pin down on the time you could get vidio and be a U-tube success.
