Pull down on the trigger guard  hold it down, pull the slide to the rear untill it comes up off the frame. The slide return spring  will stay on the barrel. The firing pin and spring are held in place by the safety lever. The firing pin is pushed through the lever the the lever can be pulled out of the slide. The safety lever has a spring and a detent this spring also provides power for the extractor BE SURE NOT TO LOOSE THEM. the firing pin and spring will come out the rear of the slide. If not assembled correctly it could mis fire. There is also a cocking indicator and spring and they need to be assembled correctly or it could misfire. I wouldn't take it down an further than this.
