i have a ruger mk ii gov. target just got and would like 2 put a scope on it. it is more accurate than i am so i want a good quality scope that stays on point. i looked at a leupold 2x20 nice clarity but i want a little more magnification. the next step up in mag at this store was $430 to rich for me right now they have a nikon prostaff 4x32 for $110 i like nikon but not sure of quality at only 100 bucks. need youre info please thank you.

Most .22 handguns I have seen with 'other than' factory metallic sights have used electronic sights of one type or another.
The exceptions are the bolt action .22's like the Anschutz Exemplar, Savage 501 Striker, T/C Contender, and some few others.

Nikon

I have a Nikon on a Ruger #1 in .45-70 and could not be happier with it. Excellent quality, clear optics, holds zero under heavy recoil etc.
