I cant find the proper spelling for that in my dictionary.. is it not the earth spinning underneath a projectile while it is in flight? If I am correct I understand this to make a difference with artillery shells but what effect does it have on a bullet out of a rifle. does it matter at like 1000 yards?
Some one told me that the correalis (spelling) affect - effect?? was the spin on a rifle bullet causing it to move in the direction of the spin. But I believe this to be called "spin drift". Or the magnus effect to my understanding of a previous thread. But I may have miss understood that as well.
thanks
