I inherited a Rossi 2" .38 spl 5 shot revolver, but can't find a model on it?! Help if you can, please.

It's an older model I'm sure and has small wooden grips. Stamped on the gun follows.
Frame - D776697
Inside - 679D
Interarms
Alexander, Virginia
Barrel: Amedeo
Rossi, SA
BAO Leopol
DDRS

Just would like to know the Model Number of this gun (it is blued). No help from Taurus!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Early Rossi Revolvers were made on S&W equipment and tooling and some model numbers followed S&W convention.

Is it five shot or six? Round butt or square? Have you checked inside the crane for model number?

From a little bit of description you gave, it appears to be either a Model 31 a Model 68. The revolvers were made some time during the 70's and 80's.
