I emailed him last week and got a reply from the missus.
She said James was getting set to have a new set of choppers installed. Seems that "factory" teeth were not quite up to snuff for a man of James's bloodlines so he has embarked on a sort of "collecting spree" to find molars from a moose, Incisors from a gator (12 foot or better) and a set of front nibblers from a blanket beaver (no more wasting good corn on the cob!)
While this may not be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, part of it is true to the best of my knowlege. ;*)
Hopefully we will be able to garnish his wisdom again soon.
I've spoken with him several times in the last three weeks and corresponded via email as well. Last email was answered by Cecilia, his wife. James isn't feeling well at all, and could use all our prayers. Seems an infection stemming from the choppers is causing all kinds of greif with him. He'll be back up and running once the dental work is behind him. In the mean-time, I surely do miss his wit, experience and southern hosptality!
