To All,

I'm conflicted between using my 1878 vintage Danish RB musket in 11.7x56R OR my "new to me" NYS Naval Militia musket in .50-70 Government.
(Despite my load of modern rifles, the old BP rifles keep drawing my attention/interest, when I consider big game hunting.)

Whichever is the most realiable and you can hit with. I both equal, take both hunt half a day with one then swap for the other half.

Remington Rolling Block would be what I'll reach for. I do love a good Winchester 1886, 92 or 95. JMB sure knew how to design firearms.
