Can anyone look at the following list and tell me if any of these sights will work for a Marlin 336 or 39A?

This is from Steve K's "sale" in the trading post.

Williams 66711 Peep Sights Rifle
Wil 44737 Peep Sites Rifle
Wil 01398 Peep Sights Rifle
Wil 01382 Peep Sights Rifle
Wil 01466 Peep Sights Rifle

Sorry, I'm just not familiar with the Williams products (I do have somewhat of an excuse, just got the 336 today).  I want to set up the 336 with a peep and scope per Marshall's article on his .444.

Thanks!

Hi, Mike:
Can't help you with those numbers and Williams website don't show the receiver sights. A 39 takes a FP-39 and a 336 takes a FP-94/36 in the Foolproof series. Thats off the card my FP-94/36 came in.

Bye
Jack

Thanks!  I'll just send a note and ask for the correct one for the rifle by model #, I could not make sense of the description either.

The numbers shown 44737 is a Guide Sight for a CVA muzzleloader; 01398 is a 5-D receiver sight for Marlin 336/Winchester 94; 01382 is a 5-D for shotguns like Winchester 1200, Remington 870, Ithaca 37; 01466 is a Guide Sight for a muzzle loader in general.  For the Marlin 1894 you would use either the Foolproof (FP94/36) or 5-D (5D94/36).

Chief,

The 5D-94-36 package shows that it will also fit the Marlin 1894.  I just put in on my 336 and it looks great, can't wait to shoot.  Hope this helps.
