I just got permission to hunt a 500 ac. farm for turkey. The first trip out I saw 4 white turkeys in 1 flock. The white turkeys were visable for 2-300 yds. Should they be removed from the flock? What would you do? Q

They were domestic turkeys that got loose. If you didn't take one they will be gone soon anyway because they aren't as smart as the wild turkey, not as hardy as the wild turkey and as you already noted they stand out like sore thumbs.

I'd guess the same. Never have seen a white turkey in the wild..... ?

I don't think feral turkeys are a problem for anyone. Like OG said, they do not survive in the wild like domestic pigs or dogs do. I don't think they stand much chance of breeding, but I am not sure. The ducks seem to have some success in the breading area but I think they have to stay local and not migrate so that is limiting in itself. You may want to check with the DNR on taking them in the off season.
