I've got a 10 day sheep hunt coming up the 20th of August, maybe a 3 day float nearby for moose in September, Deer in November.

Anybody else?

I was going sheep hunting for the opener, but fire season got in the way. Now I'm back in Alaska, but it looks like I'll end up back in the "Lower 48" in the next couple of days because there's still lots of fires.

Guess I'll shoot for a mid-September hunt for caribou and/or moose. Hope it rains in the Rockies!!

Hey bucktrack,
Too bad you weren't able to get out for the opening. Just so you know, though, we do appreciate the risk, effort, and sacrifice your job demands from you. I do hope you the fire season ends pretty quick so you can back up here and for a late season sheep hunt before the snows get too deep.

I had a peek at your website and it is very nicely done. May just have to order one of your videos. That's a mighty nice sheep you took in the Alaska Range.

Be careful and may the Lord keep an eye on you while you are fighting those fires.

Hello everyone... I will be heading to the haul rd. here in mid sept for caribou and a shot at a grizzly.. That's about the extent of my hunting this fall in Alaska. I do have a buffalo hunt planned for Nov. in the lower 48
