I just purchased my first Glock a G 20 4th gen. 10 mm got a really good deal under the Glock veteran Deal. My question is will the after market 6 in barrel just drop in using the original springs. Will probably use the stock barrel (4.5 in) for a while just looking At my options and there seems to be a lot

The barrel for a G22 dropped right in. IIRC the instructions mentioned checking that it went fully into battery. Mine did and no issues with it since.

For my G20 and G29 I bought Lone Wolf barrels and they both did indeed drop right in. I've never heard or read of a case where that wasn't true, but there's probably about a 1/2 million cases I've never heard or read of. :)

Most do drop in unless otherwise specified. I know Barstow says their semifit might drop in but the other option is a gunsmith fit only

I have a 17k and wanted an after market barrel to shoot cast bullets.
Found a like new 34 threaded barrel and it dropped right in and shoots fine.
The extra length helps slap the falling plates better but not much for carry. The original goes back in for that.
