I think that is a very good price. I bout my .30-06 last year on a clearance sale for $600. The store across the street still had there's market at $900 which is what they list for here in Anchorage.

I checked out the web site. It looks interesting. I asked them if they could turn my .30-06 and the .405 (if it ever comes) into takedowns.  Then I could have one action and two barrels on a hunt. I like the classic calibers.  Hey, I here Winchester has shipped the first few hundred out.  Info from Win.

He sent me an email today. I think I will be waiting awhile befor I pay that kind of maoney to turn them into takedowns!
