Hello everyone,
Can a decent trigger job be done on recent production 94 AE carbines? I have the opportunity to get a 45 colt 94 but the trigger is extremely hard with glitchy (technical term) creep.
Thanks,
Jeff

JRR,
This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but check out the Tech Notes Article http://shootersforum.com/tech_notes/archive_tech_notes.htm/42
There may be a gunsmith or two in your area that do trigger work, but it is my understanding the design is mostly at fault since the saftey was added.

I recently acquired a new 1895 Winchester repro and sent it off for a conversion job and requested the gunsmith to do something about the heavy and very unsmooth trigger. Through correspondence the 'smith said that he could make it smooth, however he could not lighten to less than 4-5 pounds because of the design. I think the cost for just the trigger job was about 45 bucks. Z-Hat (Fred Zeglin's shop) is performing the work. I'm not sure if does trigger jobs or is after more of full customizing work.

Hope this helps.
