I have the classic of the above mentioned gun. I bought it I believe in 1997 or 1998, cant remember which.

The clip has busted and will not load up the cartridges anymore. I have called a couple local shops but can't seem to find someone able to track down a new one for me.

Can anyone give me information as to who or where I can call to see if I can find a couple replacement clips for this gun?

Thanks for the help.

It does have a clip. I am not very familiar with a lot of the language for it though. It is for the original Model 70, not the newer ones that are getting mad eth elast year or two. I will try that website as mentioned. I did call Winchester but was told since they stopped production and started again, they don't have the extras anymore.

This is also new to me, to learn of a model 70 Winchester "Classic" with a clip fed magazine! These "Classics" are all made with control round fed magazines!!!
Perhaps you are confusing the bullet drop metal and spring which the model 70 does have on this model rifle. I have one particular model 70 in 7mm mag that is done in stainless and is Mag Na Ported and is one very accurate rifle down range. You call Winchester and they will tell you how to fix your rifle's problem.:)

Are you speaking of the magazine well itself? The M70 does have a removable stamped spring steel magazine that is open at both top and bottom that fits into the magazine recess. This is not a "clip", though.

If you open the floorplate, the magazine should be seen in the well. If not, that's what you're missing.
