I have a model 77 22LR, early 1950's and wondered if there are still a few being used out there.
I was raised beside the Delta Marsh at the south end of Lake Manitoba, and was given the gun SN 7701 by Spencer Olin of Winchester during one of his hunting trips to the area to the Sports Afield hunting lodge owned by Jimmy Robinson.
I found the gun to be quite fussy about the ammo it likes, and have used Hi-Power for a long time now with no problems.
I am curious to know if anyone would know the value of the gun, being as it is the proto type with a fancy walnut stock.
Thanks
