I really didn't know what a Renegade was until today....

I absolutely have to buy it for $89.00......

found it when i was pawning my 30 06 yesterday....
i saw it on the rack... and everybody around here wants an inline....
i like that...
cuz
i shot a deer with my cabela's hawkin, flintlock, and it didn't drop
the deer .... it toppled it over and knocked it backwards.....with
a Hornady GPB......

I will let you know if I get it......

Wow!! If it's not pitted you need to buy it even if it's only to re sell it! What caliber is it?

While we are on the subject of selling..... You pawned your '06?? There must be some better way to get the cash than pawning your rifle!!

great to know..... I will look at the lock and inspect it tomorrow.....

It is a .50 cal.....

Any suggestions out there if the bore is not up to snuff?

I believe I read somewhere that someone had a .50 barrel, sent it to T/C, and
they made it into a .54..... I think I read that somewhere.

OR should I just buy another barrel from Green Mtn?

Yes, I pawned my '06 so I will be able to get it back as long as I pay them back
within 30 days. Lord knows I don't want to sell anymore of my hunting guns because
the regret factor is too large.

You can make it a .54 yourself.......................... There's a fella, over on GBO, who wants to swap his .54 cal Renegade barrel for a .50.

That's an excellent buy, congratulations. Even if the bore is rough, I would fire some rounds through it before I decided it wasn't any good (not that you suggested you wouldn't or anything).

You still won't have gotten hurt if the bore is bad - you can send it to Ed Rayl and have it bored smooth, or rifled to a larger caliber for less than 100 bucks.

You done good.
