I'm intentionally posting this in the 92 forum. I doubt anyone has a "spare" 92 rear stock, but just in case..... I'd sure like to have one.

My kids (5 and 6) love shooting my .357 Puma, but they have to hold their arm over the rear stock since they dont have the length of pull that grownups do. I certainly aint about to chop down my stock, but if someone had one for "spare", well, that I would be willing to buy & chop down to fit their frame.

Anyone have one? if so, please PM me.

I could start whittling one out of a piece of lumber, but I'm not that great a woodworker.....

thanks sir! I'll look into that. I appreciate the help!
If youy're still interested in a shortened stock, I have one from a 94 (supposed to fit 92's as well) that was cut down by a previous owner. It's 11-1/2 " from the forward end to the rear. If you want it, send me $15 to cover shipping and my time to ship it and I'll mail it off to you.

baddad,

just fyi, I was able to fit that stock to my .357 with very little dremel work. it doesnt look really pretty (wood to metal finish) since it had been inletted to fit a different rifle than mine, but it fits my kids VERY well, and thats all that matters.

thanks very much! they were very pleased. my boy shot it at the range SAturday, and his groups are better, since he actually gets to put a shoulder on the gun now!

my bet is that little young man and the .357 take a TX piggie to the smoker. (or at least, thats what he and I are hoping...)
