I recently purchased a Interarms Rossi M62 SA with an octagonal barrel. I have not had much luck in finding information on it, such as value, collectability, etc. I would appreciate any information that anyone may have on it...

Thanks

I show that if it were new in the box, would be worth about $191, Exellent condition-- $154, and in good condition--- $93. As to collectability, I can't tell you. What did you give for the gun?

I paied $95 for my recently purchased Rossi 62sa, with a round barrel, I would call it in very good condition, a gun dealer told me that he wouldn't give more tha $125 for one in exelent condition because the new Tauras 62's are only about $150 new (at cost).

I paid $130.00 for it. Does the octagonal barrel make it more valuable? Buy the way thanks for the info...it is appreciated!

The octagon barrel adds about $10.00 to the value. What is the condition of the rifle? Any rust? Dings in the wood?

All in all I would give the condition as 98%. That is what drew me to it. No rust, dings or scratches, the wood is about 90%. There are some marks on the stock, the fore arm is great. The blueing is almost pristine.
Again, that is what drew me to it...it really is a nice looking rifle and I felt it would be nice to add it to my collection, even though I generally am more careful in checking out weapons BEFORE I buy them. :)

I would say you did ok then. Now you just have to go shoot it.
