S&W 627 Pro vs PC: Why is the PC Shorter if its barrel is 1" longer?

I can't figure out why the overall length of the Smith and Wesson 627 Performance Center revolver is actually shorter than the overall length of the 627 Pro Series revolver. Am I missing something?

The PC is heavier and has a 5" barrel and the Pro Series is lighter and has a 4" barrel. So why is the Pro Series' overall length .25" longer? The body design looks the same to me. Is this a typo on Smith's web site do you think? Everyone always assumes the Pro is shorter, and hence a tad easier to tote, than the PC, but this ain't so if the overall length is longer, obviously. The weight is better for carrying, but not the length.

I think they just got it wrong. The 627PC is 1" longer than the 627Pro. Both are very nice guns. Which you prefer will be based on your preferences for additional barrel length & sight radius against slightly more forward weight bias. My 627Pro is about 2 oz. lighter than my 627PC.
